Octoghan by Agrarian Artisan
It’s often said that less is more. That’s true of this square which was designed for a “Friends Around the World CAL” which you can read about here. The textured and lacy design is so pretty in a solid color. I can imagine a collection of these joined together into a beautifully elegant afghan or combined with other designs and colors for a completely different look. The designer named it Octoghan because it has 8 raised ‘legs’ which are made using front post stitches. The pattern is written for an Aran yarn (the designer used DROPS Nepal) and includes a chart and is written in 11 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Swedish, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Polish, Italian and Hebrew and it’s free on Ravelry!
